Skyryse is an aviation hardware and software company ushering in a new era in flight safety. Its proprietary technology, SkyOS™, is a universal operating system for flight – which powers its first aircraft, the Skyryse One™ – giving pilots greater control by simplifying the management of an aircraft during standard flight operations, inclement weather, and emergencies.
Founded in 2016, Skyryse has accomplished several industry firsts made possible by SkyOS, including the world’s first automated takeoff, hover, landing, and automated engine-out landing of a helicopter, all controlled with the swipe of a finger.

Our Origin Story
As an engineer with a Ph.D. in sensor data fusion and 60+ patents for aerial vehicle automation, Founder and CEO Mark Groden has always been obsessed with flying machines.
As a teenager, Mark began pilot training, where he came to understand the complexity of flying mechanics, and more critically, the challenges and often fatal consequences pilots face when things go wrong.
Having experienced the technology gap in aviation firsthand, Mark decided to found an aviation technology company focused on the industry’s number one problem – flight safety.
